Airing in the #2 market in the U.S. on KCET & hyper-local station CitiCABLE, Lesley was the Anchor / Reporter / Producer / Writer for the daily news show, Torrance Today, plus the Host / Producer / Writer / Editor of the lifestyle/business show, Common Cents. Torrance Today aired Monday - Thursday at 4pm, while Common Cents aired daily 8:30PM & 10:30PM, both on Torrance CitiCABLE (Channel 3 (Spectrum), Channel 31 (Frontier), plus on YouTube and Facebook. These shows are currently on hiatus, while reruns continuously air on the channel.
While Lesley’s show The SportsDesk was on hiatus due to the coronavirus crisis, she had been anchoring the live, daily news program COVID-19 Today from March 2020-April 2022 - bringing viewers daily news updates on local impacts due to the coronavirus public health crisis. She was also reporting, producing and editing for the network’s half hour, lifestyle weekend show Weekends in Torrance - featuring things to do around the South Bay in the age of COVID-19. Weekends in Torrance aired Friday-Sunday at 2 p.m on Torrance CitiCABLE (Channel 3 (Spectrum), Channel 31 (Frontier), plus on YouTube and Facebook.
Lesley was at the helm of The SportsDesk (from December 2018 until the Covid-19 shutdown in March 2020), a weekly sports program highlighting the latest in local sports. Responsibilities included solo anchoring, producing, writing, reporting, booking guests, graphics, Avid editing for the weekly 30-minute sports program, plus overseeing of the show’s social media platforms. Avid editing duties crucial – edited own packages, VO/SOTs, highlights and features. Supervising duties included, overseeing the work of sports reporters daily.
